Wires Only Internet Access

Customers who are looking for a more cost effective connectivity solution whilst retaining their on premises Web Content Filter or UTM Solution can purchase "wires only" connectivity from Broadband4.

The Broadband4 “wires only” service is delivered over a dedicated leased line at speeds up to 10Gbps direct to the internet. Our “Wires Only” services can be connected to your chosen web content filtering and firewall solution to make use of an existing or preferred platform.

If a school does not currently have an on-premises solution but would prefer this to a fully managed solution, Broadband4 are partnered with a number of industry leading vendors like Sophos who all offer a range of on premises Unified Threat Management (UTM) Solutions.

Broadband4’s Software Defined Network (SDN) allows the deployment of hybrid communication networks. Hybrid networks allow Wires Only Internet access to be coupled with converged voice and attractive co-location solutions, allowing the majority of traffic to be transited to the open internet, whilst “internal” traffic (such as voice or site to site traffic), to be securely passed directly to our secure data centre facilities without the need for Layer 3 Services such as VPN.

As Broadband4 has full control over it’s network we will work with our customers to design a network deployment to suit the needs of the customer deploying unique technologies to offer a fast and reliable service. Broadband4 believe it is important to offer a full portfolio of service and solutions to our customers and as such have designed our network to accommodate this.

Broadband4 are able to offer hugely competitive pricing for wires only internet access from all major UK carriers ensuring cost savings over current provision.

All leased lines are backed up by a 99.99% uptime SLA and 6 hour fix time, so you can be assured of a reliable service. For further service reliability, all our Broadband4 Services can be supplied with FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) backup services to provide continued service in the event of a physical fibre issue.
